Electric cutter heads

Oil-free cutting underwater for precise and clean dredging. The electric drive replaces hydraulics, with less maintenance and a much smaller risk of leakage.

High torque at low speed, even in hard and compacted material
No oil under water, so no risk of underwater leakage
Lower energy consumption per cubic metre
Full VFD integration for precise, repeatable control

Typical applications: cutter suction dredgers, environmental dredging and special dredging.

Bucket wheels

Continuous high-capacity mechanical excavation for wet mining. Designed for stable production and controlled wear in demanding deposits.

Stable and predictable feed to the pump

Wear-resistant, built for abrasive conditions

Typical applications: sand and gravel extraction, mineral sands
and tailings.

Jetheads

Inject water at high pressure to loosen and fluidise the bed into pumpable slurry. Without a drive under water, so simple and reliable.

No underwater drive, higher reliability
Works at greater depth than mechanical alternatives
Simple setup and fast mobilisation
Low structural load on ladder and hull

Typical applications: plain suction dredgers.

Electric submersible motors

Built for continuous underwater operation in the toughest conditions. With EagleBurgmann shaft seals and high-grade materials for a long service life.

Proven in abrasive slurry, high pressure and salt or fresh water
High torque with smooth VFD integration
Advanced cooling and monitoring, IP68 up to 20 metres depth
Designed for reliability and ease of maintenance

Typical applications: cutter suction dredgers, plain suction dredgers, jet pumps and slurry pumps.
Available in 400, 500 and 600 kW.

Winches

For positioning, swinging and hoisting on the dredge installation. We tune each winch to the actual load, with planetary drive and ample braking capacity.
